early pregnancy after miscarriage

Ive found out at the weekend I'm pregnant, yay! But I had a miscarriage in December and I'm scared of everything including getting close to my partner in case it harms the baby. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks

Well, I hope so too!  We have some pregnancy forums here at med help including a Pregnancy Social forum.  Nice way to connect with others who are expecting too.  Go to forums on the above tool bar and look on the left hand side!  good luck

Hi there and welcome.  Well, congratulations dear!  Exciting news.  I think it is totally normal to be anxious this time around but try not to let it overtake you.  Truth is, early miscarriage most often happens for no reason at all and just because a woman has had one miscarriage doesn't mean she will have another.  I would just practice good prenatal care and take care of yourself.  The first 13 weeks are the trickier ones for miscarriage and that time can go by quickly if you stay busy.  So, try to do so.  I wish you all the luck in the world!!
