Kind of urgent question.

Hi! I missed my birth control pill 2-3 times in 1 week and was also inconsistent with time at least once. How ineffective does it make the pill in preventing pregnancy? My husband and I had unprotected sex 3 times in that week. I had my period last week of August and started the pill as soon as it ended which was beginning of September. Any advice?

I would say it makes it pretty ineffective and you aren't safe and weren't when this occurred if you had sex.  I would say to use back up birth control until you have taken the pill consistently for a cycle.  In terms,  of pregnancy that may have occurred, you can test 2.5 weeks after the last time you had intercourse.  Your period kind of indicates you probably didn't but you need to do something to remember taking your pill.  good luck and please let me know what happens!
