Long period, infertility?

Hi guys! So I am on a strong birth control (I have tried 6 different birth controls in my 6 years of using it.) My period over-rules my birth control a lot. I will get my period for 2 weeks even while using birth control properly. If i go off birth control my period simply does not stop. When it is not my period, I notice brown discharge most of the time. My question is, why is my period this way? And should I have concerns of infertility
