There's an extremely painful, but small lump under my clit. Can anyone help??

I have a small, very painful lump under my clitoris. The lump is on one of the 2 glands that connects to the clitoris; I believe it's called the Frenulum? It is excruciating to touch, and sitting and walking is quite painful. I've tried my best to keep it clean and put vitamin E on it, but I'm worried about it. Washing on and around the lump is almost unbearable, but I noticed that the more I touch it and apply pressure, the less it hurts. However, just a few minutes after I stop touching it and applying pressure, it starts to become very painful and uncomfortable again. Any insight on what this lump is, what I should do about it, and how to get rid of it would be much appreciated! Thank you so much in advance!

hm, I'm not totally sure.  Is it hot to the touch?  Infected cyst, boil, hair follicle?  (hair follicles can be where we don't think they are).  I personally think you need to have a doctor look at it. I know that is a pain (no pun intended) but you need to get to the bottom of this and that's the best way to do it.  Are you old enough to go to the doctor on your own or have access to one?

I don't think it's hot to the touch, but sometimes the area definitely feels like it's inflamed. I'm not old enough to go to a gynecologist myself yet, I'm 17, so I'd have to have my mother take me. There are a few problems with that, though... I don't want to tell her about this, it's quite embarrassing. I have also recently engaged in sexual activities, but she would freak out about that if I told her, and if the doctor asks if I am sexually active while my mother is in the room, well... you know how that'll go.. Also, I have cut myself before (I don't anymore, but I have) and when I did, I did it on my upper thighs. There are noe at least a dozen scars on my legs from it, so both her and the doctor would probably know about that then, and I don't want that to happen.. so I hope I can find some home remedy that works for this.
