Lumpy, Discharge for me, Patchy skin for him

I am experiencing thick, lumpy discharge. It almost look as if it were skin off the vaginal walls. When I have sex with my partner, the lumpy substance gets stuck on his penis or on the condom.

My partner has been getting tiny red bumps on the head of the penis that recurr often. Also, he had a dry patch on his shaft that he put Neosporin on. It went away, but eventually came back.

We have been tested for every STD with negative results. I even have been seen by more than 3 doctors to see if I get a different consultation to no avail. I was given MetroGel to use and still after the recommended days of usage, I am getting the discharge.

Keep in mind that BV smells fishy and usually is associated with greyish or greenish thin discharge. No smell and thick discharge does sound like a yeast infection. When babies get them they appear as red bumpy diaper rash (kind of like your guy's maybe). If that were the case many docs don't go for the pass it back and forth issue and never treat the man. I've personally experienced it, as well as others here, it can happen. I would think they would have diagnosed it easily but maybe not. You can both take diflucan and there is a cream for gus to use externally (nystatin I think). Good luck.

No, they said it was Bacterial Vaginosis or something like that...but definitely not a yeast infection. I am prone to them so I can tell the difference.

Did they test you for a yeast infection?  I'm sure they probably did but that's what it kind of sounds like.  I never had a strong smell with my yeast infections.  You can pass those back and forth.

Good luck.

Sometimes BV is hard to get rid of . You need to call your dr and let them know that the metrogel didn't clear it up. Everytime I get BV.I have to take Flagyl(pill ) for 7 days and then follow up after that with Metro gel. BV can be really hard to get rid of. Good luck.
