MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to treat menstrual pain. It also helps to decrease the blood loss during menses. This is especially useful in women with heavy and painful cycles. However it does not slow the blood flow or prolong your menstruation.
