I had my mirena removed 2 weeks ago, I'm not pregnant yet but if I do get a positive on my pee test, what are the chances of my pregnancy ending up as a miscarriage? And do most miscariages after being on mirena happen during the first trimester?
I am 37 years old and trying for baby #3. I had the mirena put in in May 2009 for unexplained bleeding. It has worked beautifully except for the occaisonally spotting. i am having it removed dec 10 and TTC ASAP. I am worried about:
getting pregnant too soon
not getting pregnant
going back to my miserable state of constant bleeding.
Any insight from anyone?
In my experience I was told to go home and start making babies according to my doctor.. that is what he said the day of removal.... I think just becareful and it should happen just try to not stress...relaxing is the best for you.... here is my situation......I am ttc and had my coil removed on Oct 6 2009 no bleeding that day at all.... then had my normal period on Oct 19,2009 for 3 days. (keep in mind I had a period every month while on the mirena same day. my period should have come nov 19th and still nothing 12 days past due today havent taken a preg test since last week tuesday which was negative and it was a dollar store one since I heard they were accurate... negative...then last night my breast was stuck to my bra.. i looked and i have clear sticky liquid coming out of both of nipples similar to when i was preg the first two times i was pregnant... its been over 5 years since i have been prego so i dont know what is going on. Is it the hormones not getting me to start or is the hormones causing colostrum in breast or what? I have dr appt on friday so I am praying for a positive test. :) kinda nervous.. any advice from anyone.... did anything similar happen to any of you?.
