Yes everyone's body is diffrent. It took me 3 months to pass the baby. I had to end up getting a D/C it was the worst pain I have ever been through. And it was my 3rd pregancy. I was scared and very emotional. But it will pass. I had a D/C and they usually say to wait for 3 cycles. Well my husband and I decided to start just to try. We used the ovulation kits(from Target). Anyways it worked the 1st time so we are pregnant again. But of course it is scary. But you passed it naturally so I think 1 cycle will be plenty. And I am defiantly sorry to hear about it. It is very emotional. My doctor put me on Welbutrin. It worked really good for depression. Anyways it will happen in time, but those ovulation kits work great. Good luck..
Thanks for information. It helps to know what to expect. ..
I am so sorry to hear your news and can relate with you, I just had my second miscarriage 2-weeks ago and the procedure is fresh in my head. I miscarried naturally at home and I did have cramping for about 3 days after. They were about period type cramps the first 2 days after then went down to lighter period cramps the third day. When I went to my doc for a follow up she did a transvaginal ultrasound to make sure there was no tissue and everything had passed naturally and then she took a beta-HCG to make sure that the pregnancy hormone was down to 0. My doctor suggested that I wait one month before I started trying to conceive again, but every doctor has a different opinion on that.
I cramped and spotted all last week but yesterday and today were the worst lots of cramps and clots with a huge clot today. I feel so empty now just feel like crying all day.
On a funny note: we haven't use protection in about 8 yrs. I told him he was going to have to go buy condoms. He laughted and said he was embarrassed and felt like a teenager again worring about getting his girlfriend pregnant. we want to start trying again as possible, but i want my body to be ready. So even if my doctor says i can try right away my dh and I want to wait at least 2mths. Should I start charting my temps now? When should I start charting?
Im sorry that you went through this,
i had a miscarriage in May ......
my miscarriage began with light bleeding... 2 days in a week...then about a week later i got cramps and just like my normal period except with more stuff .......(clot )in the first day.
the doc will monitor you , because if all does not come out naturally, they will have to do a d&c ...
i was reocmmended to wait 1 period before starting again, but some recommend 2 or 3months... i imagine you would like to start again as soon as possible? ..
im sure you dont want to hear this now, but miscarriages happen more frequently than you think, women just dont talk about it, and also i read that some women dont even know they are preggy, and just get their normal period a few weeks late ... some resources say that we have a 40/50 chance of succeeding when the egg gets fertilized, but we dont realize we were pregnant because the period comes at the normal time......
so i think its just bad luck for us =(
i hope aall goes well... and keep trying.... because i am in the same position as you...
