Missed period question

I  am  26, and  totally  healthy (I  had  a  full  physical  2  weeks  ago). My  cycle  has  always  been  like  clockwork, so  these  past  few  months  are  really  throwing  me.

In  February, I  was  expecting  my  monthly  around  the  24th, but  it  didn't  come  until  the  1st  of  March. Extreme  stress  was  the  reason  for  that, as  I  had  been  caring  for  a  sick  puppy  who  died  at  that  time. When  it  did  come  in  March, it  was  normal, so  I  didn't  think  anything  of  it. Well, I  have  missed  this  month  completely. The  obvious  answer  would  be  pregnancy, and  that  is  the  1st  thing  I  was  tested  for, both  at  the  doctor  through  blood  and  urine, and  then  at  home  a  week  later. Negative. I  was  also  checked  for  infections  and  other  medical  issues  that  might  cause  it  to  stop. All  tests  came  back  normal. My  stress  level  is  fine, and  there  hasn't  been  a  change  in  my  diet  and  exercise  lately.

Is  there  anything  that  the  doctor  could've  missed  that  could  be  screwing  me  up?  I  am  really  starting  to  worry.

I'm  actually  not  on  any  birth  control  or  any  other  medications, even  OTC, and  I've  been  taking  the  same  multivitamin  for  3  years  now.

Are you taking depo or anything like that?  Some hormone based contraceptives can cause amenorrhea.  If not and if you miss 3 periods you should go back to the doctor to have a workup for secondary amenorrhea.  That involves hormone tests and possibly doing a progesterone challenge (taking progesterone pills for 10 days to see if you have a period) and an estrogen-progesterone challenge (taking birth control pills to see if you have a period).  Whatever you do, don't wait like I did until you go 227 days with no period just because the doctor wasn't concerned at first.  I waited way longer than I should have and now I'm TTC and it's a nightmare going through all these tests when I so badly just want a baby.  Another thing you could do in the mean time is to start charting (like on fertility friend online) to see if you are ovulating.  If you have stopped ovulating for some reason, it is something you should get checked ASAP to be sure you don't have an early loss of fertility and if you do it will allow you to freeze eggs while you can.
