Late Period

Hi, so I'm kind of worried because I'm 16, never had sex or anything and I've had my periods for 4 years now and I havent been stressed lately, even if I do have upcoming exams. I havent gained or lost weight either, and to start with my periods were not in a shnc they were all over the place and very heavy, now they are in a cycle of 30 and have been a lot lighter.
However I have now missed my period and I'm now 10 days late, now on cycle day 40. Should I seek medical help?
Is there anything I can do?
I have also been experiencing light cramps which werent painful but noticible but this was a few days ago and havent had anything since then.

Thank you

^^ she said it perfectly . I also want to add, that if you are physically active, cycles can get kind of out of whack. So if you walk/jog, go to the gym etc, it can happen.

At your age it does take a little while for your body to pick up a regular schedule. It is quite normal actually. As you get older, you will find that your cycle is regularizing and you will be better able to track it. You could speak more to a gyno or GP. Also, even though you do not believe you are stressed, you may very well be. We are not always conscious of it but our sub conscious mind takes on so much and it impacts on us physically especially considering that you have exams coming up.

Best of Luck
