Ovarion Cyst HELP

For the last 8 months I have been haveing realyl bad abdominal pains and a sore back etc. I went to the docters and they said that I had a Ovarion cyst but that it had exploded.. but i still had the pains and I have work and soccer and school so its become a big problem in my life. I have discharge pain during intercorse and i become very tierd. Im going to go on birth control pills so hopefully that will help. My BIG QUESTION IS: in the past when I do stuff with my boyfriends nothing feels right ... it doesnt feel good, it just feels uncomfortable. could this be because of the cyst... and if it is will it stop when i go on the birth control pill?
Can any1 answer this???

I've never heard that before (pregnancy stopping cysts). There are many different types of cysts and may or may not interfere with pregnancy. I've had 3 children, am now in menopause and recently ended up with a 10 cm cyst. Go figure. I thought my ovaries were retired and yet one of them grew a big, fat cyst. Yes, I had surgery to get rid of it.

Like Shan4215 said - ask your doctor about it. They can do an ultrasound to see how large, how many and what types of cysts you may have.

I had a similar problem and found out I had endometriosis which can cause cysts. You should talk to your doctor about it before it gets too bad. They can help you get rid of them and prevent them. The good news is that they say once you have a baby it helps cure it. However, my daughter is 2 and I still have problems with cysts and endo just not as bad as before!
Good luck

I know exactly what you are talking about.I'm 25 and when I started getting all this pain I kind of blew it of until it started getting really bad and that's when I found out had busted. My doctor sugested the yasmin birth control pill it's suppose to stop the cysts from growing and lessing the pain but I had a bad reaction to it so I had to stop using it. All I can tell you is try the Yasmin pill and see if it works.

Hello, I'm 30 years old and have had 3 surgeries due to cyst on my overies. I to had LOTS of pain during sex and pretty much all the time off and on, that's why my doctor removed them. I'm going to have a hysterictomy after I try to have another baby because my doctor said the cyst will keep coming back. All your symptoms are exactly what I felt and if your doctor wants to keep giving you meds  I would get another opinion.

that would have nothing to do with a cyst. some people just dont enjoy sex or anything like that. birth contorl can make you lessen or increase a womans intrest in sexual activity. have you spoke to your boyfriend about this? it may be uncomfortable for many reasons. you should tell him whats wrong, it might help.
