PCOS

I've had another home pregnancy test & still negative, I went to my doctor yesterday she asked me for blood test next Monday if period doesn't appear, "it's 11 days late", she asked me to take follic acid tablets. I'm so scared because I'm pcos & the doctor told me that it affects fertility very much, do I still have any chance to be pregnant?

Yes, women do still get pregnant with pcos but it is harder.  She did a blood test and it was negative and she is still entertaining you are pregnant?  With pcos, long cycles are the norm.  Changing cycles with pcos are the norm.  11 days is not that late.  I'm surprised she is still wondering if you are pregnant.

Wait, I see your blood test is Monday.  Confused.  Well, that will give your definitive answer.  They'll check for hcg and will let you know one way or the other.  Let us know the result, okay?

I have pcos aswell it can be hard. I tried for 4 months and fell pregnsnt with my son but there are types of pcos even though I have it its not severe. Sometimes it can take longer to detect pregnsncy if you are. I was 7 and a half weeks before I found out with my 1st. But got easier after that. Good luck xx
