PID is a fairly serious disorder and is painful. Treatment can take time and the pain should begin to ease up soon. If the intensity of the pain has not changed during the six days you've been on antibiotics and pain killers, you need to request something stronger and make sure the degreee of pain you're in is not a sign of a secondary infection. It's very good that you'll be talking to your doctor today. PID is NOT something to mess around with.
I wish you the very best and a speedy recovery

I don't know how long the pain SHOULD last, but if you ask me, you should not be having any pain at all. Or very little. Call your gyno and ask for something to control the pain. You do not have to suffer. Is your doctor a man? Just curious.
Be well
