The pelvic you descibe I wonder if you have short sharp stabbing pains to? I think you possibly have Irritable bowel syndrome. The description of the pelvic pains you have and also the rund could suggest this. There are a few different types of I.B.S I would suggest you have a read up on it and then maybe consult your gp.

If I have PID or BV, would ceftriaxone and azithromycin be a valid cure? or are there better antibiotics available?
symptoms are lower abdominal pain, malodour, but only clear discharges... can anyone help? recommending lab tests are not what I am looking for ... : )

How could I have PID if I'm not sexually active. I don't use tampons, and I've never had sex with anyone other than that rape.  Can you tell me, just out of curiosity, why I would have PID if I'm a virgin and don't use tampons. How do I get checked?  I'm going to the doctor tomorrow.

You didn't say you aren't sexually active.  Note that I said your symptoms "...suggest PID, especially if you are sexually active now."  But still you are right to see a health care provider about your symptoms.  One possibility, which might be pretty far out but neverthless to ask your provider:  perhaps you have a fistula (an abnormal anatomic connection) between your vagina and your rectum, or elsewhere in your abdomen.  It's the kind of thing that can occur with traumatic intercourse, as might be expected from forced sex at age 9, and could result in PID-like infections.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

You need to follow your own advice, as you said to angel32586 in the post just before this one.  Your sympmtoms almost certainly have nothing to do with the sexual assault 9 years ago, but they sure suggest PID, especially if you are sexually active now.  Don't delay, see a health care provider.

Jess again. I forgot something. I also have dark yellowish-brown discharge right before.  Last time they gave me anti-biotics for a UTI, and they helped, but now the symptoms are coming back.
