Period two weeks early

I have recently just noticed some bleeding. First it started off light and went away for a few hours and now its back but normal flow. Its two weeks before my period is actually due. I have had protected sex right after my period and just a few days ago. Is having my period two weeks early normal??

If it's about 2 weeks before your period then you're just about or just have most likely ovulated. Ovulation can sometimes cause light bleeding or spotting for some women, but it shouldn't be like a period flow. There are many things that can cause this - hormone imbalance or infection being the most common. Any time you experience bleeding mid cycle, it's suggested you see your doctor for a check up to make sure all is well.
