12 days after the first day of your period is supposed to be your most feril time. Worked for me with all 4 of my pregnancies.

Depends how long your cycles are. You ovulate mid cycle (which is your most fertile time). If for example, you have a 28 day cycle you would ovulate cd14, so you would need to be having sex every other day leading up till that point and then again after....to try conceive. You can track ovulation by using OPK's (ovulation predictor kits), tracking your basil body temperature (BBT) and keeping track of your cervical mucous...which when you are about to ovulation will become more creamy, and egg white like. One thing some people do if they don't want to track all the other things is just to make sure you have sex whenever you see creamy cervical mucous.
