Absolutely!!! If they had the baby's and female probs, there would already be total pain free deliveries and surgeries!LOL. Your aunt knows, and it's a huge coincidence that I am a sahm now, but an ob nurse for 15 years!huh, who'd a thought it. Take care and speedy recovery to you, tmv
Thank you so much for your comments. I was feeling that there was something wrong with me. My aunt, who is an OB nurse, reminds me in situations like this that my ob is male and has never had "his" ovary removed. Again thank you
Completely normal. My sister had a tubal pregnancy and removal of the ovary (bikini line incision) 2 1/2 weeks ago and is now down to 2 pain pills a day. She also can handle pain very well. Everyone is different and even with the laparascopic, it can take a while. Try walking around a little more as it stretches the muscles out and slowly cut back on pain pills. I hate when drs give and exact time as to when you will be "better". You may try eating more fiber or taking simethicone 2 tabs four times a day to help you have bms more frequently. Simethicone is actually for gas, but you can "kill two birds with one stone" as it has a side effect of diarrhe when you take it for a while. Just do this for a few days and see if it will help. Hope you feel better soon and best of luck for a speedy recovery. Oh, try to stay clear of stairs for a while. tmv
