Pregnant and Cramps

I went to the hospital today because I have been having really bad cramps on my left side. I am 6 weeks pregnant I did a sonogram and they told me I was bleeding a little from inside that I had a 50/50 chance to have a miscarrage. Has anyone here ever had cramps during there pregnancy or have had a sonogram done that the dr. says you are bleeding a little inside. Im very worried don't know what to think.

Hi - I had massive bleeding at 11 weeks when I was pregnant with my second. Having miscarried prior to having my first baby I was sure this was happening again. I went and had an ultrasound and waited for them to tell me the baby had died, but they said they saw a very good heartbeat. The bleeding was from up behind the placenta safe and away from the baby - possibly a build up of old tissue or something. There was no pain during the bleeding but prior to getting the bleed I had for a few weeks noticed a sharp twinge around my belly button area - which wasn't really near the uterus but could have been what they call referred pain that is that that was where i was experiencing the sensation of pain even if it wasn't directly below the surface. Confusing? Yes but my doctor told me as long as you don't have cramping while you're bleeding then it's probably ok. If you have been experiencing cramping then there may be another reason or you something else might happen. Either way there's not much you can do but wait - I know that's hard but sometimes coming to the knowledge that you don't have any control sometimes gives you a little control. What will be will be - and I hope that you don't experience the worst. My thoughts are with you. Let us know how you go!
