STI, Thrush now P.I.D???

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this...
I have had thrush for 3 years after an abortion I had, I tried everything from pills, creams to home remedies, nothing helped so I finally went to the doctor who did a STI test, I had Chlamydia and she said this probably caused the thrush, so I took medication for that but I had a STI test only a year before so I thought that maybe wasnt the cause for my thrush.  Another year later I went to the doc (different doctor) and told him everything.. he thought I may have P.I.D (pelvic inflammatory disease) I also told him about my strong period pains that cripple me for an 2hours to the point where I cant walk (He also said this a a sign of P.I.D) So I go to the hospital in a few days to find out what the verdict is... should I be worried and has anyone else had any similar stories to this and did it result in P.I.D??? :(

So I had my ultrasound and I asked the radiologist if everything looked fine.. he didnt answer me, then at the end I asked again, He said 'At this stage there was nothing to get too concered with but I should of come in earlier, I will send these to your doctor and he will talk to you in a few days' So what the bloody hell does that mean???!!!  I noticed when he was scanning my fallopian tubes there was small white dots in the middle, only a few, what does that mean? Please help

i was diagnosed several times with PID even though ive never had an STI (i know it can be caused by other things)
turns out i have polycystic ovaries, not PID
its hard to determin PID and most doctors just guess
but because you have had chlamidia, it can turn into PID
yes PID is a horrible thing but its not the worst thing in the world, i cried when i was told i had it and then realised theres no point in crying, stay positive!
good luck to you hun
