Spot Bleeding

i am 24 with no kids, i am on the Evra contraceptive patch and have been for about 5 years. i have started bleeding but its only brown blood thats coming from me for the past 6 days and not heavy at all and still having the cramps, my periods are always on time and heavy and i only ever have a bit of brown blood the last couple days. can you help as my smears have came back with abnormal cells in them and i have to be checked every 6 months.

You're welcome. If you're scared you're pregnant, maybe a doctor's visit
is needed to find out for sure.  You might also take this opportunity to
ask your gp if the Evra contraceptive patch is still the best choice for us

thanks. like i said i have been on this method of contraception for 5 years now and i have had a break from it about 2 years ago, but i have never had this before, what worries me is my friend got pregnant on the patch aswell and scared that i am aswel!

I just finished reading your comments. I don't know anything about the
Evra contraceptive patch. My suggestion is to google Evra contraceptive
patch and see what comes up, specifically possible side effects of
Evra contraceptive patch. Based on what you find, I would probably recommend making an appointment with your family doctor. Maybe
even changing your method of birth control., just a thought.
Of course, your family doctor who knows your medical history is the
best person to discuss this issue with. Good luck getting some answers.
