Stress and skipped period?

HI, I've experienced a few skipped periods a couple of years ago.. followed by periods with very heavy
bleeding. I saw my Gynecologist, and a ultrasound was done, to find nothing. She wasn't sure of a diagnosis,
nothing really wrong found.. she said sometimes the body can do these things in reproductive years. I'm 32 now, and for the last 2 years my period has been regular. But this month was the first month it skipped again. I had one spotting section yesterday.. very small, but I'm wondering, can it be stress related? Has anyone here ever experienced this ? (im Not pregnant) I have had anxiety this month, but I've had general anxiety for 7 years and I don't think even feeling tense or anxiety can do this, although not sure. My Gynecologist muttered I had endometriosis this year, and babbled on about other things, that I didn't even have a chance to ask her about it.. I've researched it, but it doesn't really have a cure and is not threatening, But, I just wonder if it is related..or why this month it skipped..? Any tips or related experience you've had is appreciated.. thank you.

Thanks for your comment Kayla... I guess maybe anxiety or stress can affect us.. I think it 'may ' have been that in my case. Glad I'm not only one too... do you get bad cramps too? I get them pretty bad... but we'll see for November hopefully it will come. Thanks so much for your comment.. stay in touch :)

Hi I am experiencing the same thing my period is late and or skipping i have been overly stressed. I took a test and it said negative but could it be that I'm stressing it too much or is my cycle changing or could I be pregnant?
