Swollen Labia

Recently had sex but noticed about 30 minutes later that I have swelling on my right labia.  What could be the cause?

If this has not gone down by now, bacteria may have infected it, visit your doctor.

The vulva will puff up with excitement and sometimes will settle in one area, but this should be gone within an hour afterwards.  This can also happen with rough sex but this too should dissipate within an hour.
