Tampons??

So I’ve been using tampons for a year now and I’ve never had an issue with them. But my last 2 periods I’ve been having issues getting them in. I put one in this morning and it went in fine but as soon as it hits 3 pm putting one in is impossible, it’s like my vagina is swollen shut inside. I don’t know what’s causing it. I’m curious if it’s my medicine. I’m on accutane right now and I’ve been having issues with tampons since I started the medicine. I just don’t know if something else is going on. Help?

To test the puffiness theory, you could try an antihistamine like Benadryl. Ask the doctor or look it up online first so you won't run afoul of any drug interactions.

I'd try one of the kind that has s smooth plastic applicator, and I would go see the ob/gyn and make sure nothing is going on besides some puffiness. It could be a lost tampon and it's irritating your vagina. You could also see if the doctor has ever heard of this kind of side effect of Accutane.

I take my medicine at about 7 in the morning btw. I just hate that I can’t use tampons sometimes :(
