am i sick?

Ive been feeling weird for almost a year. I feel tired all time but have trouble falling asleep. Im always weak and dizzy. My body aches almost all day, every day. I get headaches all the time and i cant concentrate at all. I also get mood swings and sometimes feel depressed! Im only 14 and ive already been diagnosed with scoliosis! Could these things be sympyons to something? Is anything wrong?

I just thought that you should take a glance at this website and see the signs and symptoms of the disease       http://www.ucsfhealth.org/adult/medical_services/spine/deformity/conditions/scoliosis/signs.html
Then again these symptoms you are having could be fibromyalgia take a look at my juornals for websites that discuss the signs and symptoms of fibro, yours are eerily similar to those. Good luck to ya!!

Hmm.. I'm not too sure on what scoloisis symptoms are but the headaches and feeling dizzy and tired all the time is from something else. It's always a time process with Doctors as they have many other patients to deal with.. it took them almost a year to find out what was wrong with my grandmother, so just hang in there. Once they find out what's wrong, they can diagnose you properly with the right medications or whatever procedure they need to help you feel better.

Do you have depression? Depression causes mood swings and feeling unmotivated, tired all the time.. many people have it and don't even realize it until they are diagnosed.
I have depression and am on anti-depressants and i too have mood swings i was also diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD). It's closely related to bi-polar but not as severe. That is what causes my mood swings. I'm not saying you have that, but while you're there at your doctors, i would get checked out for these things, especially depression, just because you may not even realize you have it and there's medication for that so your not always so tired and dizzy.

Hope that helps, and i hope they find what's wrong with you soon. Take care!

Do you have a good relationship with your Mum or anyone else in your family that you could talk to about this - it could be as simple as a vitamin deficiency in your diet or a problem with your body not absorbing vitamins.

Also stress at the physical that these symptoms are now giving you a lot of cause for concern and you want to know how to go about having them investigated.

Good luck :)

i dont kno the symptoms of scoloisis but i thought that had to do with your back being at somewhat of an angle or having an arch to it....i think that would explaine how you feel week and your body aches...but i dont thinkt that would be the reasoning in why your having trouble falling asleep (unless its from the pain), headaches, moodswings and dizziness

if its been a year. you should have brought this up with your doctor a while ago. give your doctor a call
