Tingling down below and a blister?

I had sex with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago, and we used a lubricant that I think I'm allergic to. I had really bad burning down below and it resulted in a UTI. I took some medication and it cleared up. Then we slept together again a few days later, without the lube, and the burning/tingling/throbbing continued after. I had been taking ibuprofen which seemed to stop the feeling, but it's now been four days and it's still there. I'm taking medication for cystitis, which has helped too. But now on the inside lip of my vagina there's a small blister (probably half a cm round) which looks like a regular blister. I hadn't noticed it previously and it isn't causing me any discomfort, and isn't sore to touch. I had one probably a month ago just outside my vaginal lips, which released a little blood and some puss, but healed really quickly.

I have no idea what's wrong. We used protection; could it be a latex allergy? Or could it be that I still haven't recovered from the reaction to the lubricant? I wondered if the throbbing could be that I was bruised inside? I called the Drs for some advice and they told me to continue with the medication for cystitis and contact them again if the symptoms persisted, but has anyone any idea what could be wrong?

Hi Ali, this could also be from his sperm, if he's been on antibiotics,or he could have got himself a semen plasma allergy, commen substances that create an allergy include antiboyics, nuts, plants pet dander and insect venom.
Do hope this helps.
Good Luck

Well....you need to finish the course of the medication and refrain from sex until this is COMPLETELY sorted/resolved.  You might be having sex too soon and not letting this completely resolve.  If you have been using protection in the past, i.e. condoms, and had no problem then I doubt this is a latex allergy.

In my opinion, this "blister" sounds like a reoccurring cyst.  Sometimes women are prone to this related to friction during sex.  Nothing serious about this.....more irritating than serious.  You don't shave or wax this area....do you?

You are dealing with two separate issues just as the physician has stated.

IMO this is Cystitis/UTI.  If this is NOT resolving AFTER you've taken the medication reconsult your physician.  What physician are you seeing for this?  GYN Specialist?  You should be seeing a GYN Specialist about this.

Once again.....refrain from sex until this is totally figured out/resolved.  Give your body time to heal.

Follow your physician's orders.

The Dr said it was most likely a harmless cyst, and that I had a urine infection.

This could be a number of things and I would reconsult your physician to assess this.
