I don't want you to think that anyone is trying to burst your bubble. We are all very happy for you and the new baby. But a test is the only way to know for sure. I gave an example in your original post about a friend who's baby brother was the whitest baby in the nursery and BOTH the parents were African American. And like the other poster who's neighbor has a child with light features.. DNA is a funny thing. My husband and I are both brunettes with brown eyes. My first child was born with blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. I kept waiting for her eyes to change colors since I thought ALL babies had blue eyes at birth. The doc told me nope she has and will always have blue eyes. We have Irish and Native American (Cherokee) heritage, and the Irish DNA came out in her. As well as my 3rd. I have two that look like they just stepped off an Indian reservation. and one that is a combo of the other 4. I know, I am longwinded (LOL sorry) but I just want you to understand that a test would be the ONLY way to know for sure and I think that until then, there will always be that little seed of doubt in both of you. All 3 of you have the right to know without a shadow of a doubt.
I hope you have a PERFECT life and I send you the very best wishes for happiness with your new baby!

Almost all babies are born with blue eyes. Real eyecolor doesn't show till the baby is several months old.

The possible other father was black if I'm remembering the story correct.

Congratulations!  I'm glad everything worked out the way you wanted.

I would still get tested, my neighbor has a boyfriend that is black - from africa and they have a son and he has blonde curly hair and blue eyes!  She even has dark hair too.  I would not go by looks alone!  Bad idea!
