What could be the cause?

So I am currently using birth control (nexplanon) and have had basically the same symptoms throughout the three years its been in but my date to take it out was less than a month ago and my doctor told me it would last at least 2-3 months after that date so the hormones shouldn't start getting out of wack for a while which is what is confusing me. They tested me for pregnancy, std's and everything while i was there and everything came out clean, i was also on my period while i was there which was  june 16 or 17 and my period actually stopped just two or three days short. A few days later i started getting a brown discharge and spotting and now the discharge has gone away but i am still occasionally spotting. I've started breaking out which hasn't ever really happened (i get a few pimples here and there but not the way I've been lately) and I haven't been able to sleep either. Im losing energy and my appetite goes from severly hungry to not being able to touch any food at all without gagging. Does anyone know what could be happening? Its been 11-12 days since the doctor and having them tell me everything is negative for their tests and ive had the same sexual partner for over a year so I don't think it'd be any sort of std and im not having any pains either, just weird stomach movements occasionally. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It will take a 3-5 months for your body to adjust to the hormonal changes. But if you have a growing concern after a while talk to your doctor. Perhaps that particular contraception isnt right for you. Just make sure you keep the doctor informed regularly. I hope everything turns out well for you. :-) as for the appetite loss, im unsure of that. Sorry I couldnt help more. Though im sure someone elses response to you may be more helpful.

Well i guess what was concerning me is that its been the same for all three years up until now and nothing has changed with the birth control either. I still have it in and don't get it out until the 1st and they said I shouldn't have to worry about any changes until then and when i start my new birth control. Thanks for your input :)
