Vaginal tearing!!

Hi ladies...I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this? I get these tears about a week before my period and after sex. I've been tested for all sti's twice, yeast, bacteria, herpes blood test and swab and its all been negative. I am only 28...is it possible for my skin to because thin down there at this age? There are no tears on the inside. I've seen so many doctors and no one can seem to give me any advice. I've mentioned the thinning to my doctor and she said nope that can't be happening because I'm only 28!! Thoughts??

Thank you so much for your reply. I am already doing everything you have mentioned. I have seen many doctors about this issue and no one seems to have any idea what's going on. It is just so frustrating to be in this much discomfort and be told sorry there's nothing more i can do :(

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Skin thinning does not usually happen at such a young age. It can be due to chafing. Chafing occurs when the skin becomes irritated by the friction caused by rubbing – either against other skin or against a foreign material. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a doctor.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
