Weight gain on one side of body and eye twitch.

I have gained a good bit of weight over the last few years. (about 60 pounds) I am 32yrs old 5'10 and over the last 6 to 8 months have been favoring my left side of my body. Meaning I can't help but lean on that side alot of the time. My left arm, leg, and breast is noticably larger than the right and I get a twitch in my left eye sometimes. I am animic as I most recently found out and have to take iron everyday. I have noticed that my heart has been beating oddly sometimes, out of no where it would just speed up and beat hard for a few seconds and then slow back down. My legs and ankles swell some after siting for a few hours at work. I also have notice I bruise very easily and they take a very long time to go away. The top part of my shins feel like clay inside (that is the only way I can explain it) I can press down with my finger on it and it will stay like that for a few seconds and it also turns white. I also have some sharp pains in my legs and lower back on occassions usually while sitting at work.
I hope you can tell me what might be going wrong with the left side of my body?? I know I am not a very active person but if I start to become more active like fast pace walking 30 min a day will I have a heart attack?

Thank you for your help.

I have similar symptoms.  Not sure I understand the clay feeling. But over last year gained weight on my right side- and it is visually larger than the left.  My left side feels like the real me; my right side is a different body and disconnected from the left.  I am very limber but in hindsight realize that the first symptom when this started happening was loss of flexibility and stiffness isolated to my right side.   Even my face feels puffy on the right.  I too have had tingling and numbness etc on the right- so much so that one evening I thought I was having a stroke so went to the ER, had an MRI which thankfully turned out normal.  My doctor ran suite of blood tests with only vitamin D indicating it was below normal range.  Have you had any diagnosis?  Or other suggestions from your doctors?  Mine suggested I go to a neurologist.  Have yet to get an appointment.  Hope you have resolved this and are doing well now.

Sounds like a sort of edema.  That "clay" feeling in your shin is retained water.  This is likely what's affecting your left side and could be related to a lymphatic problem.  You need to see a doctor.
