Vaginal Fissures

I found an old string regarding Vaginal Fissures (paper cut like).  If any of you are still out there, have you had any luck getting an accurate diagnosis of what is causing this problem and how to correct it?

I have been suffering for over a year, I go back to my OBGYN on Thursday but, I am getting frustrated and would love to hear a success story....  Thanks.

I had paper cut like a fine crack line on between the butt, i was at about 1cm slightly lower than the backbone.  Then I started to use homemade soap instead of commercial body cleansing products. It just disappeared and recovered after two to three weeks. Recently I had vaginal fissure for about 4 to 5 months. I have seen Dr countless times and done all the necessary tests and the results are all good. Nothing Dr can do about it. Then I started to exclude carbohydrates on my meal and it just healed by itself.

My Pap came back Pos for High risk HPV and after all STD's were ruled out my Gyno said that the HPV could be causing what's called Vulvodynia/Vestibulitis... Vulvodynia has been known to cause painful cuts and sores.

My symptoms are finally going away after 3 months. I have been taking all sorts of vitamins and herbal remedies along with the ALdera prescribed by my Gyno to clear the HPV... which coincidentally caused more symptoms/cuts.

I got on this website and started following the guidelines:
www.Vulvodynia-Treatment.com

I bought the kit it suggests to buy. It all makes perfect sense... I was indeed at my wits end... but it seems there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Is this something they can cure and how??  I go to my OBGYN tomorrow, I will bring this up to him and request the dermatogist referral. Thanks for any other input you can provide, I am really at my wits end with this.  It has basically ruined the sex life of me and my husband.
