Why is my period blood dark brown and scattered?

Hi. I rarely get periods. In fact, this is my first one in a few months. But when I do the blood is super brown. I know it’s most likely just old blood. But I can’t help but be concerned. Why is my period so rare for me? I know for a fact that I am not pregnant.

Yes brown blood is old blood.  You sound like you have a hormonal imbalance.  A doctor can do a blood work up to determine that.  This is what I'd do if I were you and then they can go from there to get you regulated again.  good luck
