Why don't I have my periods??

I haven't had my period in over 5 months, after coming off the pill for 6 years, when I did come off I had maybe a light period that lasted a couple of days the following week after coming off the pill. I haven't had anything since, I have had an unltrasound done to check my eggs, ovaries and so on but they are fine and my hormone levels are fine, why don't I have my periods?

Are you under/overweight?  That can have an effect as can recent severe illness or drastic changes in diet/exercise.  Were your thyroid (TSH) levels checked?  That can also have an effect.  I'm sure pregnancy would have shown in the ultrasound, so that's out of the question.
