Yaz/Loryna

Has anyone had yeast related complications from Yaz or its generic forms? (i.e. Loryna) I've been suffering from persistent yeast that correlated with my switching to Loryna and I wonder if the two could be related.

When I had chronic yeastie beasties,  my doc put me on a week of diflucan. One pill a day for 7 days. Hardly get them now. And if I do, is knocked out with a one day treatment. Sometimes you just have a stubborn infection. But definitely go get swabbed. Could be a bacterial infection that feels like a yeasty.

Hi,
Birth control pills may sometimes increase the chances of yeast infection. This is not brand specific and can be found with other brands as well. However the yeast infection can be treated with the help of anti-fungal vaginal pessary or with oral drugs. A vaginal swab test can be done to confirm the diagnosis. Consult a gynaecologist for an evaluation. Hope this helps.
