Yeast Infection? Or just a scare?

So yesterday I was shaving my vagina in the shower. After that I felt that my vagina was getting very itchy. I scratched it then I realized it was really swollen. then I went to go pee it burned really bad. It doesn't bother me a whole lot but it gets very itchy when I'm not doing anything. I'm not sure if it's serious enough to go to a doctor about, because it's kind of embarrassing to tell my mom I need a vaginal check up. I keep hooping it'll go away but the selling from last night has gone down but but it still really bothers me. Can anyone let me know if this is really serious and I if I can get a view for this?

Most likely is some kind of yeast infection or a reaction. Did you use anything on your vagina when shaving there? Any shower gels or shaving gels etc? If so, it could be a reaction to one of those. Yeast infection is most common though. You would need something to treat this, especially since it's burning when you pee. See a doctor.
