Yeast Infection ?

So ive been extremely itchy "down there" with a lil bit of discharge for the past 2 months. After the first month passed i went to the doctor and she told me i had a yeast infection. I took the medicine, got a lil bit of relief but it never went away. I went to the doc again the other day and got some medicine. Its been 2 days since i took the meds and i still dont feel any relief. Could this be a yeast infection or somthing else ?

*I even took an STD test and came back nonreactive for syphilis , negative for HIV , and negative for tricanomous . It did come back positive for Hyphae, and when i did research on that it said it was a fungus/yeast.

What is wrong with me ?

Sounds like you have a fungus/yeast infection that you tested positive for.  :>)  i'm glad they cultured you so you know what this is.  are you taking the pill to treat it or using creams.  I really like the synthetic oral (pill) medication the doctor can prescribe myself.  anyway, it just must be persistent and I would keep at treating it.

Probiotics are a way to help the body establish a healthy ph of the vagina.  This can be found in probiotic yogurt or you can take a supplement with probiotics in it.  This adds good bacteria back to your system and the good balances out the bad and helps to keep down on yeast overgrowth.  I would wear loose clothing, cotton panties and change them often especially after exercising or doing anything in which you sweat.  Do NOT douche!!  That is very bad for the ph and creates more issues.

stick with it and you should be able to get rid of it.  good luck.
