Thank you so much for your professional help. I am taking both and it appears my yeast infection is somewhat better. I will contact my doctor if it doesn't completely improve.

Hello,
Premarin may cause worsening of the yeast infection and not cause it. Hence you should discontinue taking it only after your doctor’s advice.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Hi there!
Though the use of premarin cream has been linked to yeast infections it does not ‘cause’ the infection/ discontinuing the medication does not lead to any improvement in the situation and hence discontinuation is not recommended unless specified. It is best advised to consult a doctor for appropriate evaluation and management of the condition.
Hope the information is helpful.
Take care!
