Yeast infection that is resistant to treatment?

Hello. I know this is a woman forum but considering women have more expertise in yeast infections I wanted to see what you guys thought because the guys forums isnt very active. I believe I was given a yeast infection from a woman after sex, this was  7 months ago and I have a constant red rash on my penis  that gets really red when erect (typical penile Yeast symptoms).  I have tried Diflucan, Lamasil (terbainafine) and ketaconazle cream all which did nothing. It has effected me psychologically an incredible amount.

Typical yeast infections are candida albicans, but I read of a type of yeast called candida glabrata that can be resistant to these medicines and represents 5% of all yeast infections. Have you ladies ever:
1. given your man a yeast infection or
2. had candida glabrata/or any yeast infection thats been resistant to medicine and what did you do

I visited a dermatologist and they said it was just dry irritated skin, which I have a really hard time believing given the way it looks.  I am also  terrified to give this to my current girlfriend and will go to any lengths not to.

Thanks!

Thanks!

When men have yeast, it is usually jock itch and /or athlete's foot.  It can certainly involve the penis.  Try washing with tea tree oil soap.  Put tea tree oil on the areas as well after patting dry.  Treat your feet as well as genitalia because men tend to touch their feet to their underwear when getting dressed and it passes back and forth.  Wash socks and underwear in hot water with measured Tide and half cup baking soda.  You can get Nigella sativa oil pills from Whole foods or Amazon.  Take 1 a day with plenty of water.  this will fight yeast from the inside.  Also a probiotic can help.  DO NOT use a topical corticosteroid as it encourages yeast and thins skin.  Many men are very upset at the lasting scarring from this drug that doctors love to prescribe.
