Yeast infection while Pregnant
what is the most effective and safest way to cure a yeast infection while pregnant?
i have had 2 Y.I. so far during my pregnancy and was instructed to use over the counter monistat. the first one i was still in 1st trimester, dr instructed me not to insert the applicator too far in while administering med. i've been told that it is quite common for YI and UTI's during pregnancy. infact i am taking antibiotics right now for a UTI, which will probably trigger another YI from the antibiotics!! so annoying more then anything else, i am 37weeks pregnant and as if i'm not already uncomfortable enough, right?
What are precautions women should take during pregnancy to reduce the risk of Yeast infection?It seems its really dangerous to have infection during pregnancy.
