I am going to be 41 next month and have been more or less healthy all my life. For the last 4 years since returning to Illinois, I have been an extreme gardener and am no stranger to sweating all over! Prior to that, I was in project management in construction and engineering in Arizona. While in AZ, due to fibroids, I had a partial hysterectomy (uterus & cervix). 9 years before that I had an ectopic pregnancy rupture and my left fallopian tube was removed. 2 years ago here in IL, my right ovary was removed while having a recto seal. It has only been over the last two years that I have had real fluctuations in weight- + or - 10 pounds in a month, and sweating, above the shoulders sweating, drenching my head, hair, face, dripping from my upper lip and forehead. Extreme sweating at night and severe dry month when I wake in the morning, and intermittently from time to time during the day. I will get hoarseness in my voice from time to time, and have had lingering headaches that seem to just hang around for days. My Dr. - Whom I have been seeing since I returned to Illinois, says my blood work is coming back "in normal ranges.” whatever that means! I drink bottles of water all day, a habit I acquired while in AZ and yet have constipation, and even experience a little hair loss - enough that it alarms me in the shower. I take a very small dose of Paxil- 10mg- since the 911 tragedy, and I take suboxone- which started in AZ after my hysto to get off all the pain meds. I have remained on it as it seems to stabilize my moods and my Dr. has been ok with that. It beats taking any other meds. I have had no decrease in sex drive and the only other thing I can think to mention is at 41, I am experiencing adult acne from time to time again. THIS SWEATING AND OVERHEATING IS horrible, just going up stairs, outside walking the dogs for 15 mins, little stuff – I need to take off my clothes and sit in front of a fan! CAN ANYONE HELP??
