bacterial vaginosis

I'm a 19 year old suffering from bacterial vaginosis though I'm not sure if it's BV or yeast infection however I have a yellowish discharge and sometimes greyish white thin whit bad odor. Can uou please  tell me the treatment for this infection?

BV will not be cured with antifungal medication. You can purchase something called RePhresh gel over the counter at the pharmacy which is specifically for BV. Your symptoms are pretty consistent for BV. If you use antifungal on it, you'll make it worse.

You should be tested to confirm ,.If you can't go to a doctor for any reason , use antifugal cream , ovules . and  a broad spectrum antibiotic.

Hello to answer your question I would suggest a test for bv and possibly stds this type of discharge seems to be abnormal in a yeast infection it's scary to think that but bv and most stds are treated with a regiment of strong antibiotics I was recently  diagnosed with bv and claymidia and pid(which occurred with being untreated with claymidia) the only symptom I had was a yeast infection type symptoms little did I know it was more then that)long story short I would get tested as soon as possible hope you get to feeling bettet
