bloated belly

I am 40 years old I had a partial hysterectomy and a bladder suspension when I was around 32 or 33.
I have diabities, pcos, icd, high blood pressure. I am also being treated for bipolar for the past 6 years or so.
My question is my abdomen always looks swelled. I'm average build but I look like I am 7 to 8 months pregnant.
My abodomen area looks like it did when I was pregnant. I have not been to the obgyn for along time. Should I be concerned.  At times some of the bloating goes down but I still look pregnant.

Very good. I recently had a 10cm cyst and ovary removed so I know how bad the bloating can feel. If you have more questions about the tests or concerns about outcome, feel free to drop by the Ovarian Cancer board. No, you probably don't have cancer but the women there have been through every test and surgery you can imagine. They were very helpful to me.

Thanks for your help. To answer your ?'s I take elmiron for my ICD and I take spirolactone
for the water weight problem and high blood pressure. I will be going for my yearly check up with my urologist so I will talk to him about.  I will also go ahead get my self to the obgyn.  Take care

You mention that you have pcos. Even one cyst can cause symptoms such as bloating. Multiple cysts are bound to be a problem for you. It sounds like it's time to see your gyno and get the ovaries checked again. Not a fun test, I know. But it's very important.

With your ICD, are you taking meds along with that? Do you have to take a diuretic? Perhaps that dosage needs to be adjusted. And of course, follow a low sodium diet for your BP. I'm sorry you have so much going on. Please take care.
