can I ovulate even if my period is irregular?

I had an implanon BC done for 5yrs.Since then my period come every 6mths. I would like to know the possibility of me ovulating

trick question.  :>)  You will ovulate right before you next get a period.  When you are irregular, you won't know when that will be.  But you can't ovulate and not have a period directly following unless you get pregnant.  good luck
