can you get pregnant if you haven't had a period?

Hello ladies! i have posted here before and just as an update it has been almost 4 months now since i stopped taking BC pills and still no period! Does that mean i won't be able to get pregnant since i am not ovulating? A few weeks ago i was getting really bad cramps but no period, what does that mean? I want to be pregnant but with no period yet i don't know if its possible?? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

Hey my husband and I have been wanting to have a baby but I havent had a period in 3 months. i have had both blood and pee tests done and yet im not pregnant. I do have hyperthyroidism but have treatment for it and it is level. I was taking birth control but stopped because we decided that we wanted a baby. I have had more than one doctor do blood work and they still havent found the cause of why I dont have a period. The weird thing is my period was regular and just stopped out of the blue. I really would like to get my period back so that i can conceive and have the baby that we have wanted for a while.

I haven't had a period since April 13,2011 due to ovarian cysts. Today's date is December 29,2011 and I was wondering if I could possibly still get pregnant? Lately I had some small symptoms of pregnancy but nothing to go crazy about. Except, fiance thinks I might be because I been eating a little more but not to my much ( I never been  a heavy eater) and my stomach is starting to come out as if I were to be pregnant. I told him that is not the case I could be just getting chubby. Except, I exercise often and only eat a little more the normal. So I could I possibly still be pregnant even though I haven't had a period in over 8 months due to ovarian cysts?

I went to the Dr already and they say nothing is wrong with me or my husband. They wanted to put me back on birth control pills to make me start again but how can I get pregnant if on the pill? So why cant we get pregnant?
