Please go to the doctor if you are in that much pain.
I had my gallbladder removed in January & still have pain in my upper abdomen with or without food.
I have tried somac & nexium & nothing has worked.
Now they are trying me on pariet.
One doctor though I had IBS too but my bowels work fine...it's all upper pain.
Take care

I had a gallstone when I was 26.   The pain I had was around my right ribcage.  The pain was constant, because every time  it moved..I hurt, which evidently was all the time.  I never had any belly pain.  Also my husband has been having problems with gallstones every so often.  When he hurts  it's in the same area I hurt in.   I'm not a doctor, but you could have an ulcer.  I have IBS, which is Irritable Bowel Syndrome.  I don't throw up when I eat, but for a while afterwards...it hurts in my stomache so bad.  I tried Nexium..the purple pill...and for the first time in 13 years, almost 14 years...I can actually eat and go somewhere.  I was always afraid of going to the store, or even eating out, because of the discomfort.  My advice is to see a doctor, and maybe ask about trying Nexium.  It could be what you need, but even if not...you still need to see a doctor.
