What exactly can you do if you have been seen and been treated for yeast infections and no antibiotics oral or suppository has worked to get rid of it? I have had this issues close to two years and doctors seem to be blowing me off about it when I know there has to be a underlining cause for this please help this is literally killing me.

Well cant even go today for my exam i'm still on my period and they wont see me for that till i'm not but going to go see about getting monistat for treatment in between going. ugh was so hoping to go today, feeling down but can't help my period I guess.... at least im having one.
Oh that is great that you can get it there!! Awesome. He will only need the cream from Monistat or Canestan. He wont need anything else. Crossing my fingers for you guys and I will be praying that this works.

Anyways, he gets paid today and we are going to get it if we can here over the counter did you happen to know that i can here in Michigan? he has agreed to get tested then he says he will get treatment if he has it not if he don't know that he needs it but that's a big step he does not have a regular doctor so will probably try to get one or to make things faster go to ER.But i cut him off completly now so i m sure ths is why I just told him this is effecting my health and you care about that right he got to thinking about it and I'm sooo happy. let you know what happens Monday have a good weekend
Did you get a chance to try this method out with the dufflican? Having him use the cream?
The night before is the worst as far as abdominal pain.Then its just in my lower back mostly but that pain rarely goes away no matter what.
No i don't usually the symptoms diminish a little as far as discharge and what not but you can't really tell how bad it is when your on your period, pain wise that does not go away and just feel sooo tired all day i wake up tired. i sleep at least 7 hrs a night tho.
What I would do is get the blood work paperwork as well to see if they tested for Yeast in the blood stream that would be my concern.

I start my menses tomorrow. So no not on anything right now should I be when i'm ovulating I use pads for the last 2 months now not tampons because I heard it holds infection in. I went to get unscented soap today got the wrong kind well he did :) To answer your question a while back sorry i just noticed when they did the blood work and caultur they said you have a pretty sever yeast infection what ever that means it was the er at the same hospital so they could look it up it seems like

Dufflican is usually given in script form from the doctor when a yeast infection is stubborn. The problem is that your body is immune to it. I am immune to it and one pill 150mg works for me. Even when I had to take antibiotics as its usually the first day I take one the next morning I get a yeast infection so what I did the last time was took my antibiotics then about 10 mins later took the dufflican for the first time in my life I never got a yeast infection from the antibiotic . I am telling you it works with one but if unsure buy 2 at 150 mg and take it a week later.

Thank you there was something else i don't think i told you i'm on here asking everyone lol. I had blood work done when I had gone to the ER. They said it was in my blood this is serious that means I'm septic doesn't it? Cant things go real bad from that? I'm just scared about it all. I will wake up and get the kids up for school clean and do my home stuff and by four o clock, I feel sore all over I get a fever but not all the time, nausea, chills my whole abdomen hurts and it has radiating pain feels like its my whole mid section all the way around my lower back hurts bad everyday. I have had ankle surgeries in the past so I have artificial parts in my body. Can this make it worse? Everything runs through my mind about the possibilities. Also, sometimes at night when lying in bed its a heaviness on my left side. when I was on the suppository antibiotics and laid down for bed I felt a burning and like Icould feel the medicine is that normal ok enough with all the questions this is just really bring me down mentally and emotionally. And yes i found out you can get a prescription of this but one useally will not get rid of it and since i don't know how long have had it how will they determine this sorry last question talk to you soon have a good weekend.
It depends if its over the counter now there too . Usually Canada is last to do this so you might have it there but haven't noticed . You could also get it online I am sure too. Let me look around and see what I can find out

Damn you sound like the way I was. Anything that went near my vagina would cause a yeast infection. I had bv at one point the yeast then bv them yeast it was bloody hell so I totally know what you are going through. It's so important if you are doing monistat to do it for the longest time possible like 7 days. Also if you can research dufflican I am telling you I don't even use the Canadian version of monistat anymore it's a waste. One over the counter dufflican pill clears it up real good. I keep them on hand just in case but I have def been lucky the last 6 months .

Right now I am in the middle of treatment I go back for an infection check on the 16th I live in the USA Michigan. I have been treated in the past with monistat 3 it started out as BV and when it got bad they said it was misdiagnosed and was regular yeast so that is all I have had for the regular yeast but i'm not sure how long I have even had it. I have been suffering from infection tho for about two years. Is it possible for the infection to go from one form to another. when it all started I had a IUD and got that removed 2 yrs ago but it did not do much for infection at that time they said it was BV (bacterial Vaginosis) sorry about the spelling. I have also tried cutting out so much sugar, cleaning the area after every bathroom brack the soap i use is dial antibacterial i do not douche at all. i have taken a probiotic acidophilus but need to take it regular because i have been forgetting latly other then that nothing else.
I would tell him he has to or you won't be having sex period and that he is probably passing it back and forth so try to get him to understand that. Don't use dial try dove unscented if you have that there. Are you being swabbed every time for yeast to make sure that is what it is?
In Canada we have canestan in the US it's monistat not sure where you live but those creams will work. Tell him to put it on faithfully like 3 times a day the same time you are being treated.

This is what I have tried and done so far, I do love sweets but have cut sugar a in the last 2 weeks and will talk to doc about checking sugar. I started taking Acidophlus a probiotic, I need to take it regularly tho I have been forgetting. I quit using tampons because it holds infection in they say. I use dial soap rarly use different is this to strong? I've been thinking it could be my partner do you know of any over the counter for him? and what can you do if he is to stubborn to go in and get checked just not have intercorse? thank you you did help and i will take this advice to the doctors.

If you are having chronic yeast infections you may want to try some things at home that may be the cause of reoccurring yeast infections. First of all, make sure you are not were clothes that cause yeast infections such as tight fitting clothing such as skinny jeans or tight fitting pants. It's important that your vagina to have adequate air flow bc tight fitting pants can cause the airflow to be low and with the riding of temp to your vaginal area is a breathing ground for yeast infections. Make sure your panties area cotton lined as this also is a breathable material. Your diet is another factor, if you eat alot of sugar or sugary foods this can cause a yeast infection so try to avoid such foods. On that note has any of the doctors checked your blood sugar level as chronic yeast infections could be an early sign of diabetes. When taking antibiotics you should also take an over the counter probiotic there are specific kinds for regulating the vaginal ph balance. Probiotics help to replenish the good bacteria that sometimes the antibiotics tend to kill off while treating for different ailments. Eating plain yogurt (no fruity types) will help prevent yeast infections. If you douche alot this can also bring on yeast infections. Sometimes certain soaps can be too harsh for that area Dove soap is a good soap to use as its not as harsh as say Zest. When you are drying off make sure you dry that area well, some people are encouraged to use a hair dryer on a low setting to dry the area well. When you go to the bathroom make sure to wipe front to back not back to front as bacteria can get in the vaginal area and can cause a yeast infection. I hope this helps.
