Brown discharge is common for girls not having had their periods yet. It is more than likely an attempt with your body to start having periods. Brown discharge is old blood that has taken a while to reach the outside. Up to 2 days sometimes. So you may well be having the start of your periods.

The hormones do take about 12 to 24 months to adjust to getting it started and the other discharge you are noticing is all part of that process. Wear panty liners and keep some pads in your school bag and locker for just in case it starts full on soon. Which I have no doubt it will.

If the discharge becomes very smelly and I mean REALLY off not just Ooh that ain't nice to smell, then go to the doctor, but I think it is just your body going about what it's doing and nothing more.
Good luck on your journey into womanhood!
