drug

i am 28 years old and i have 4 years old boy and i am TTC for 1yearswith med (serophene,gonalf,profasi) then iui all the 6 of them faild then my dr told me that is the time to move for ivf he gave me last monday an injuction called arixtra he told me this the start of ivf medication that he can can control my ovulation he gave me told me to see him on aug 30 does that injuction stops my period to come because i am 4 days late i did HPT and its NEGATIVE what does that injuction do with ivf?

As far as I know Arixtra is a blood thinner and is used to prevent blood clots, for example if you're going to have surgery, so it shouldn't affect your period, if anything it might make the bleeding heavier. Is Arixtra the only drug you got? Perhaps you should talk to your doctor about why your period might be late... is your period usually regular?

I'm sorry I can't be of much help - what I know about ivf is from the research I've done on it when it was taking more than a year to conceive but I have not gone through ivf myself. At your next appointment you could ask your doctor in detail about exactly what kind of meds you will be taking and why, and what each one of them does. Sending lots of baby dust your way and hope you get a BFP soon!

yes my period is regular 26 days but now i am 3 days late and i have to see my dr on aug 30 and see what he is going to give me for ivf med do you have any idea about the proceture and the med?
