I had novasure done on the 30th of November 2012. I've have no cramping, I refused and pain med. Some discharge, but after so many years with fibroids and heavy bleeding all the time, this is some relief. I'm only 37 years old and no kids. Only grief I have is that I wasn't able to have kids. In 2005 I had a fibroid removed and heavy bleed continue and sometimes twice month or last for a month.

I'm scheduled for the nova sure.  I was very comfortable with my choice until I started reading all these post of woman that had it done n then just kept bleeding n being in pain for months n then had hysterectomies. Are these normal complaints? I'm no terrified I made the wrong choice!  I'm anemic from very heavy periods. Please tell me this is not the norm for the nova sure. All other websites n news r so positive.

I considered the Novasure but decided on a total hysterectomy by laparscopy. I have been really happy I did. I head many people say that after having the Novasure, the had to go on and have a hysterectomy at a later date and I just didn't want to mess with it.

I had my surgery on 11-7-07 and i'm still draining. My question is when does the draining go from normal to abnormal? The drainage looks bloody not to the point that its bleeding heavy but enough to go through a couple of pads per day. I notice that when the drainage stops and have sex with my husband it starts back up again. How long is this going to continue? I have a call into the dr. and not heard anything back other than the nurse telling me he left before she got a chance to talk to him. So will try again today.

I had the Novasure along with the d&c and laparoscopy.  This is going on week seven post op and I still have drainage.  I am worried but my physician says it is normal. Did you have this problem for an extended time or have you heard this from anyone else?

On sept. 27th I had a tubiligation, D & C, and Novasure.  I am still a little sore.  The incision across my belly button is draining a little.  I am able to wear a normal pad as far as what I am passing.  I wish that I had not had to have surgery at all, but if I did, this was not too bad.  Based on all the information that I received prior to the surgery, I would do it again.  I went back to work today.  I have had some discomfort.  Do not worry. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised as to the level of discomfort.  Good Luck!
