how to keep my milk supply

Hi, I've had to stop breast feeding just before my baby was 3weeks old because im on medication that can harm her health.
I've been expressing to try to keep my milk supply but its decreasing.

If i keep expressing will my milk supply stay for 3-4weeks to be able to continue breast feeding??

maybe. no one can really tell you. i was so convinced i was going to breastfeed till me son was a year.....did not happen. i got to a point where as much as i was trying to pump....it still dried up.

its said that it can take a year for your milk supply to dry up. and even if you cant produce enough to feed your baby at one point in time...if you can get 1 drop out...you can still breastfeed...idk how true that is. but i think you still would be bale to breastfed it might take awhile though.

try calling a la leche league or something for assistance. or give your doctor a call. i think there are some herbs that can help
