Depends when you ovulate. If you ovulated right around that time in your cycle (small window of time), then yes it is possible. Remember stress, illness, hormonal imbalances, extreme dietary or exercise changes, and other things can also delay a period.
I would test.. read the box. the closer you are to your expected menstrual date the higher chance of an accurate test result. 8 days before your period is a 50 50 chance of getting pregnant.. because it so close to your ovulation.
You can test as soon as your period is missed, there are even tests that tell you 5 days before you miss your period, i would test now and if its negative I would test again in a couple of days if you still haven't gotten it,
